CARLSBAD, Calif.- The University of Utah athletic department, in conjunction with Student Advantage's FANSonly Network, recently unveiled a complete redesign of the school's official athletic site, www.utahutes.com. The revamped site combines official athletic department content with the latest in digital technology and design. Most noticeable site changes are use of a reader-friendly four-column design, improved graphics, and a soon-to-be-launched Online Store offering the latest Ute merchandise.
Along with the new look, UtahUtes.com offers expanded efforts to provide alumni, fans and media with complete information on all Ute sports. The site features live audio coverage of Utah sporting events, free e-mail service, up-to-date scores and statistics, audio and video clips, schedules, ticket information and interactive games and promotions. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to interact online with Ute players and coaches, including a current Ask Coach Majerus feature. Beginning in January of 2001, fans will be able to purchase officially licensed merchandise through the Ute FANStore on UtahUtes.com, with proceeds from each sale benefiting the athletic department.
