SALT LAKE CITY -
The Crimson Club and University of Utah athletics department are sponsoring a Ute Fan Fest on Saturday, August 26 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. Student-athletes and coaches from all 19 varsity athletic teams will participate in the Fan Fest, which is free and open to the public. Fans who bring their own cameras can have their pictures taken with the student-athletes (the football pictures will be provided free by Inkley's and will start at approximately 1:30 p.m.). The Fan Fest will also include demonstrations, coaching tips and competitions, autographs, prize drawings, food, drinks and entertainment by the U. pep band, cheerleaders and Crimson Line. Commemorative Ute Fan Fest t-shirts will be sold at the event.
