The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee selected Utah to host the 2010 West Region in the Delta Center.

SALT LAKE CITY -- The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee announced today that it has selected Salt Lake City as the 2010 NCAA Tournament West Regional host city. The regional tournament will be hosted by the University of Utah in the Delta Center on March 25 and 27, 2010.
Said Utah Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Hill, "We are always happy to host the NCAA Tournament in Salt Lake City. Our first interest is to host NCAA 1st & 2nd Round games in the Huntsman Center and we will continue to pursue that in the coming years. However, we jumped at the first opportunity to bring the NCAA Tournament back to Salt Lake City, which was as a regional host at the Delta Center in 2010."
