Beth Wolfgram Named Ute Sports Nutritionist

SALT LAKE CITY -
Beth Wolfgram, a registered/certified dietitian and strength and conditioning specialist, has been hired as the University of Utah's sports nutritionist. Wolfgram has worked in the wellness field for over 15 years in facilities around the United States, as well as England and Australia. In addition to her position on the athletics staff, she is an adjunct faculty member in the U.'s Division of Nutrition and the sports nutritionist for the Utah Jazz.

Wolfgram's responsibilities as Utah's sports nutritionist include working with coaches and athletes on nutrition issues as they relate to performance, nutrition counseling, ensuring NCAA guidelines are followed regarding supplements, and collaborating with facilities that provide food services to University of Utah student-athletes.

Wolfgram, an avid athlete, competes in marathons (completing 12) and triathlons. She has also climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
