NFL Rosters Feature 35 Former Utes

With the latest class of draft picks and free agents, the ranks of former Utes on active NFL rosters has swelled to 35. Highlighting Utah's latest NFL class are draft picks Star Lotulelei and Joe Kruger.

Joe Kruger Goes to Philadelphia in the 7th Round

oe Kruger, who bypassed his senior year at Utah to enter the 2013 NFL Draft, was taken with the sixth selection of the seventh round by Philadelphia. He becomes the second Ute defensive lineman taken in this year's draft. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was drafted in the first round as the 14th overall pick by Carolina on Thursday.

Utah All-America defensive tackle Star Lotulelei became the seventh first-round draft pick in Utah football history when he was chosen by the Carolina Panthers with the 14th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

White Team Wins Offensive Shootout 35-28 in Utah Spring Game

On a day when the offenses combined for 797 yards, the White defeated the Red 35-28 to win Utah's annual Spring Game on Saturday afternoon at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Utah's 2013 spring camp winds to a close this week with practices on Tuesday (3-5 p.m.) and Thursday (3-5 p.m.), and the 10th-annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Red-White Spring Game on April 20 is free, as are several events leading up to it.
