No. 24 Utah (0-0, 0-0 MWC) hosts No. 15/15 Pittsburgh (0-0, 0-0 Big East) in the season opener for both teams on Thur., Sept. 2. Game time is 6:30 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised live on VERSUS. Radio is ESPN700 AM (espn700sports.com) and Westwood One (national radio).

The University of Utah women's soccer team (0-4) plays its first home games this weekend as Loyola Marymount and Saint Mary's College visit Ute Field. The Utes kick off against the LMU Lions (2-1-0) Friday, Sept. 3, at 7:30 p.m., then take on the Gaels (2-0-0) at 1 p.m., Sunday.

The University of Utah volleyball team hits the road for the first time this season at the Northwestern Challenge this weekend. The Utes' first match in Evanston, Ill., will be against Morehead State, Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 10 a.m., as the Utes take on Ole Miss, followed by host Northwestern at 7 p.m. CT.

University of Utah interim head women's basketball coach Anthony Levrets has announced the addition of Stanford transfer Michelle Harrison to the program. Harrison was a standout high school player in Utah with Mountain View.

There are four Ultimate Ute Experience sideline passes still available for purchase for Utah's football games against Pitt, UNLV, San Jose State, Colorado State and TCU. The first Crimson Club luncheon of the season, featuring football coach Kyle Whittingham, is SOLD OUT.
